Xuri.

Xuri means beautiful and is a unique spelling of Zuri making the magazine mean beautifully unique. Xuri magazine is about making disabilities beautiful. I went for a minimalist style with clean layout and pops of gold and pastel pink. The featured article is all about a disabled fashion YouTuber called Jayjohnson who is diagnosed with a rare condition and finds joy in makeup and fashion. It is meant for young people with disabilities to feel normal and beautiful but also for people outside of that to learn about people that are a little different from themselves. The photography for the cover and main spread were shot by me.
